The Officers and Board of Directors are pleased to announce the following Annual Remembrance Donation. This donation will begin this year at the Annual Meeting in Colorado on Thursday, September 6,2007.

YTCA Annual Sunshine Remembrance
.
 YTCA will make an annual donation to our Donor Advised Fund, YTCA Rescue, YTCA Foundation or another charity chosen by the Board dedicated in sympathy for any and all members and/or their Yorkies who were ill or who died during the year. The remembrance would not list each and every member or dog name but, instead would be all encompassing 
as an expression of general sympathy.

 Guidelines for the YTCA Annual Sunshine Remembrance 
.
1) Expression of Sympathy to encompass every member or dog but not list each and every  member or dog.
2) The Board will set the amount each year.
3) The Board will name the Charity each year.
4) The remembrance donation shall be announced at the general membership meeting of the National Roving Specialty and shall be published in the Yorkie Express as well as on the no response list and on the Club's web site at the time the donation is made.

SUNSHINE COMMITTEE.  7-29-2007
.
Member, Barbara Bedsted has been appointed and has accepted the chairmanship for the Sunshine Committee. A chart has been prepared following the guidelines below which will also be available in the Express for you to tear out and place in a convenient location.

SUNSHINE GUIDELINES:  7-29-2007
1) Select a YTCA member from one of the Regional Clubs in each Region of the Country as the Chairman for that region. 
     (The four Regions re: Eastern, Western, Central, and Southern)
2) The Clubs that are in each region have an appointed Sunshine contact. 
3) When Sunshine is needed the club contact person notifies the Regional Chairperson and he/she in turn contacts the overall chairperson who will then send the Sunshine card, keep a record to publish in the Express and make a report to the Board.
4) For those states that do not have a club, members should contact the Regional club nearest them.
5) Committee information may be found in the Express, on the Website and in the Roster.
6) Sunshine Cards were artistically designed by Elissa Taddie and will be printed by Pamela Wengorovius and forwarded to the Overall chairperson for mailing.
